The world of financial assistance has changed under the new Trump Administration.  Our special Grants Management Year in Review webinar series will explain 2025’s biggest developments and will preview upcoming issues for grant-funded organizations in 2026.  The opening installment in this two-part series will take a broad look at the most important regulatory, legal, and accounting developments of the last year, as well as issues that flew under the radar but may still affect recipients and subrecipients in significant ways.  The webinar will consider developments within all three branches of government–the Executive Branch, Congress, and the courts.  During the second installment, you will learn how organizations can balance values, support staff, and maintain funding, in light of recent Executive Orders concerning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts.  By attending both installments, you will stay ahead of today’s quickly evolving issues in the field of Federal grants.

The Grants Management Year in Review webinar series for grant-funded organizations will feature two timely sessions explaining policy shifts and related changes affecting Federal grants management.  Sessions will be held on consecutive Wednesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time starting January 21, 2026, and finishing January 28, 2026.  However, registration opportunities for this series are strictly limited to maintain a small group dynamic allowing for maximum attendee participation in each session’s question-and-answer period.  Your registration also includes access to a recorded version of each session to review on-demand for 30 days.  Sign-up today to learn more about recent developments in grants management and how they will affect your organization in 2026.

Eastern Standard Time (1:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, 12:00 P.M. Mountain Standard Time, and 11:00 A.M. This past year and a new Presidential Administration have brought significant changes to the world of Federal grants.  Learn about major developments affecting the regulatory, legal, and fiscal management landscapes for recipients and subrecipients of Federal financial assistance.  Attorney Brian Tipton will explain these key developments from 2025 and what to expect in 2026.  The webinar will also cover important but largely overlooked developments that may affect grant-funded organizations moving forward (such as updates to audit and internal control standards).  After participating in this webinar, you will be able to identify the most notable recent developments in Federal grants management as well as evolving issues for 2026.

In recent years, many grant-funded organizations have taken steps to address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).  Some funding sources and programs have even encouraged or required DEI efforts.  However, the new Trump Administration has issued a series of anti-DEI Executive Orders designed to dismantle DEI initiatives.  Join Attorney Kate Weaver Patterson for a look at the current legal status of DEI for grant-funded organizations.  During this webinar, you will learn how organizations can balance their values, support their workers, and maintain their funding.  After attending, you will be able to outline the recent Executive Orders and describe their effects on DEI efforts.
